Religious monument built in the baroque city of Olomouc (now in the Czech Republic) between 1716-1754. The main purpose of this monument to praise the Church and the Catholic faith, especially in the show thanks to end the epidemic, which struck in Moravia in the years 1714-1716. It was also a symbol of local patriotism, because all the artists and craftsmen who had been resident in Olomouc, and more saints as shown on the sculpture in the link to the city of Olomouc.
The monument is one of the largest sculptures in the Czech Republic. In 2000, declared by UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the reasons that led to the declaration that it is "one of the outstanding examples in the peak expression of Baroque art in Central Europe."
